How Do Various Tribes Deal With Stress Or Immediate Threats? by bambambambam: 11:43pm On Aug 03, 2014
Hi,

I asked a similar question over at the health boards:

https://www.nairaland.com/1841732/how-deal-stress-immediate-threat

But I also feel it should be asked here with regards to tribes and cultural customs:

How do various tribes deal with stress or an immediate threat? Say if the world is on ones shoulders, if one is about to enter into a fight, or perform in front of a large audience etc.

Are there any cool ways of interacting with ones nervous system to make one super alert but yet super relaxed? Are there any pieces of ancient wisdom or tribal folklore one could use as a guide?

Thanks!
