Or do I change the glass ( 4 at the side and rear wind screen) to a normal clear one.

Which is better and cheaper

I guess you are better off with a permit. Did mine with 15k, through a nairalander.

Thanks for the response, can I get the contact? How long did it take and am hearing there are 2 types of permit. The one from Abuja ( which covers all routes) and the one which covers Lagos state only.

Got it after 3 working days
There's only 1 type of tint permit and it's from force headquarters Abuja.

No, Abuja based.
All you need do is to send scanned copy of your vehicle papers (license, proof of ownership e.t.c)
Send me a PM for the contact. I don't know if he'll like his contact to be on a public forum.

No. You will decide how you want it sent to you. Courier, airport pick up, ABC transport, or any means that may suit you.
Note: you will be responsible for sending the document. 10k is just for the permit
