Many people have come online to allege that PayPal doesn't allow Nigerians to receieve payments on their account. This is not true. I recently verified my Paypal account and have since been accepting Payments using PayPal on www.gidilink.com You can check it out and test it yourself. To qualify for this type of account, you need a BUSINESS and not PERSONAL account. Everyone is qualified to open a business account. Just that the registerartion process is different from that of a personal account. Hope this helps. 1 Like |

what you did is turn-off for people who eventually click the link and see a different thing. If only you understand some of the principles that make people stay in your website, you wont be doing what you re doing. You just shot yourself on the legs 3 Likes |

OP, nice share. It only stands to reason that a merchant account can accept payments. I mean, what use would a merchant account be if it can't accept payments. But my question is, can it also receive money? Has anyone sent money to you and you were able to receive it? |

wakacome: are you sure one can receive paypal payment in nigeria??on paypal website they said nigerians cannot receive payment,am confused ooo....Oh well, i a yet to receive payments myself but i think what PayPal meant on their website is that Nigerians can't withdraw funds from their account. Normally, all PayPal account holders can both make and receive payments. Verifying your account only increases the volume. |
