Perhaps one of the most internationally known Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince Zamani, has called it quits with his long standing record label Chocolate city.

Ice prince who until this time, had been under the same record label with M.I Abaga since the label’s inception has finally isolated his fellow rapper record label mate and assistant CEO.

Chocolate city who lost music stars Brymo and Jesse jagz a while back, has also suffered a massive ‘commercial’ loss. According to Mr Audu, CEO of Chocolate city, Ice prince had been having problems recently with the record label and most of the problems were not un related to his affiliation with Grip Muzic BoiZ (Yung L, Endia, ChopStikz), with the same record label rumoured to be his newest record label.

Ice prince who has been singing with the Grip Boiz for a while now has described their friendship as inseparable and that nothing, not even his record label, can separate them.

This bad blood may not be unconnected to the hit track ‘Stinking Sh*t’, which Ice featured on.

Efforts to get an official statement from Ice prince have been stalled by the fact that the young rapper is presently in the United States.
