ITbomb: It carries more load and drives more energy because it consumes more fuel Not strictly true. A 4.0 V6 is likely to produce more power than a 3.5 V8, and use more gas too. 2 Likes |

Siena: yeah, it's possible. by 4.0 and 3.5, is that the volume of the cylinder, or the linear distance between the TDC and BDC or the diameter of the piston? |

Better is subjective, in what way? V6 engines of today are much more potent than V6 engines of 10 - 20 years ago. There are V6 engines out there that perform like V8 engines. Better is a very subjective term. |
