No fewer than 30 students
from five universities in Nigeria have
converged on the Federal University of
Technology, Akure(FUTA) to participate in the
Economic Community of West African States
(ECOWAS)edition of the Trans-African Hydro
meteorological
Observatory Sensor Design Competition.
The competition which is supported by
Oregon State University , USA and Delft
University of Technology, Netherlands is
aimed at developing a network of weather
stations across Africa.
