This recent epidemic of the Ebola should give Nigerians and the whole of Africans food for thought.

Ebola virus has been prsent in Africa since 1976. What did Africans do? Nothing! ! Instead of investing a lot into reseach they play the blame culture or Conspiracy theory. Or wait for the Americans or Europeans to come and develop a cure.

Take Nigeria for instance ever each thousands of microbiologist and related fields graduate from our universities only to bedemoralsed sfter years of looking for jobs in their related fields. The lucky ones end up working in banks, oil companies etc

When is our govenment going to wake up from their slumber and start putting the needs of its citizens first. Take a leaf from the American govt its two citizens affected by the virus are already recovering. The raw materials for the vacine was got from the tobacco plant in Africa . The western world look at the continent of Africa as a "bunch of backward thinking individuals thrown into confusion"

The praying Africans have to buy these vacines cos they won't spend their money taking the hard route to solve their problems. They would rather gather in special prayer grounds and ask God to intervene, while the Phamaceutical companies in America make their money."
