How Petty Kerosene Retailers In PH Are Shortchanging Their Customers by bongolistik(m): 1:55pm On Aug 10, 2014
In Port-Harcourt where I stay, I have noticed that many kerosene retailers are grossly shortchanging buyers. This one has nothing to do with government. You will notice that in PH most kerosene retialers have deliberatley refuse to know what 1 litre continer is just because they want to shortchange their customers. Instead of them having and measuring in 1 full litre container you see them opting for and making use of only two types measuring container, ie the 50CL Cock bottle for small sized bottle and the 75CL Wine bottle or 75CL small bottle water container for bigger size.

Now see where the shortchanging comes in. They will go to the filling station and obtain the products in litres at between N100 to N120 per litre. Now they will come and retail it to their customers at N140 to N150, which should have been alright that way per litre and for their own profit. But instead of retailing it at that N140, N150 per litre, they use their smaller bottle of N75CL that is not up to a litre as stated above to measure it out and still sell it at N140, N150
