Description

The fourth edition of Macedonian International Animation Festival “Animax Skopje Fest” is scheduled for November, 2014 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The Organizer of ASF 2014 is Auripigment production in collaboration with NGO Creative Center Tintiri-Mintiri, Ministry of Culture of Republic of Macedonia, City of Skopje and other partners.

Animax Skopje Fest, the first animated film festival in Macedonia, is currently accepting applications for 2014 and calling all animators around the world to join this year’s competitive program. The main reason why organizers decided to create an international festival of animated film in the Republic of Macedonia, is the desire and need for this animated film to get a wide door in Macedonia.

Eligibility

The films in official competition can be submitted by international art schools, production companies, film institutions, independent artists and other competent persons. Submitted films for official competition can be finished in any animation technique up to 25 minutes, completed after 31 December, 2012. They must be submitted in HD format.

Awards

Three main prizes (Golden, Silver and Bronze Brick) will be announced as part of the 2014 open international animated film competition. The Festival will also include thematic sections and special screenings. Prizes that are not included in the Festival Statute may be awarded on the Festival, from private donors, institutions and organizations

Application

The deadline for sending applications and materials is 30th of September 2014.

The Festival doesn’t charge any fee for submissions, but the costs for postal services and procurement of materials should be covered by the applicant. For submission it is necessary to fill in the application form and to send printed and signed version of it by regular post, together with other materials. The materials should be sent in HD format. If more than one film is submitted, every film should be sent on different DVD together with signed application on the following address: For Animax Skopje Fest 2014 Str.
