Sports betting is the activity of predicting sports results and placing a wager on the outcome.
The New Premier League season is here! If you are one who is into sports betting you actually have a chance to win if you like wagering on soccer activities.
I would like to give some tips on what to predict when wagering on the English Premier League this weekend.

ARSENAL VERSUS CRYSTAL PALACE

This Saturday evening Arsenal host Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium in their opening Premier League match. Kick off 17:30 BST.
Arsenal will be hoping to build on last season’s FA Cup victory and after the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona they will also be looking to improve on last season, where they finished in 4th place on 79 pts. Arsenal’s recent record at the Emirates reads a very strong looking W10, D5, L0.
When playing the mid table sides, Arsenal’s record again reads a fairly solid looking W7, D2, L1.
Palace have a poor record away to the elite sides and I would probably look to avoid the match line. The NO on both teams to score certainly looks of interest and has been seen in 10 of Arsenals last 15 home games and in 11 of Palaces last 15 away games.
I recommend you place a bet on under 3.5 goals in the match.

LIVERPOOL VERSUS SOUTHAMPTON

This Sunday afternoon Liverpool host Southampton in the opening game of the season at Anfield, Kick off 13:30 BST.
Liverpool were extremely unlucky not to win the Premier League title last time out and they ended the season in 2nd place on 84pts after 38 matches, just 2 points behind champions Manchester City. Liverpool boast a very strong home record which reads W13, D1, L1.
The recent head-to-head record at Anfield reads Liverpool 1 wins, 0 draws and Southampton 1 win.
This could be a tough season for Southampton who have lost the majority of last season’s first team through the transfer market. Last season Southampton performed exceptionally well and they finished in 8th place on 56 pts. Southampton’s recent away record reads W5, D4, L6.
When facing the Premier League top sides, Southampton’s away record reads a very mediocre looking W1, D1, L8
In summary this is an extremely interesting matchup, made even more so by the possible participation of 3 ex Southampton players. The 2 previous league games played at Anfield have been fairly tight affairs and my ratings suggest that there is just the slightest of value in backing Southampton on the handicap. My ratings also suggest value in looking for Southampton to score and they have found the net in 8 of their last 10 away to the Premier League elite sides. Liverpool have conceded in 11 of their last 15 home games where both teams have scored in 10 matches. Both teams to score can be backed at around 2.05 and this offers some value and somy recommended trade for this match is Both Teams to Score

NEWCASTLE VERSUS MANCHESTER CITY

This Sunday afternoon sees a very interesting opening day fixture when Newcastle host champions Manchester City at St James’ Park, Kick Off 16:00 BST.
Newcastle had a very up and down season last time around and they finished in a very disappointing 10th place on 49 pts. This will have been very frustrating for the Newcastle fans, as around the New Year Newcastle were looking real contenders for a European place. Newcastle’s recent record at St James’ reads an average looking W7, D1, L7.
When playing against the Premier League elite sides, Newcastle’s record reads a disappointing looking W2, D2, L6.
The recent head-to-head record at St James’ certainly favours the away side and reads Newcastle 0 Wins, 0 Draws and Manchester City 4 wins.
Manchester City were crowned champions last season, finishing top on 86 pts after 38 matches. Due to the Financial Fair Play rules they have been unusually quiet in the transfer market. However they will still be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. Manchester City’s recent away form reads a strong looking W9, D3, L3.
When facing teams of Newcastle’s stature Manchester City’s record reads again a strong looking W7, D2, L1.
As far as goals are concerned then there are some mixed stats. When looking at both sides last 15 respective home and away games. In the 30 matches, 9 games have seen 4 or more goals, 8 games have seen 3 goals scored and 13 have seen 2 or less goals scored.
Looking at the goal line, there are just too many mixed stats to make a judgement. According to my ratings Manchester City offer some value here and looking at their recent record at St James’
I recommend you place a bet on Manchester City to win on a -1 Handicap.
