The Nigerian Medical
Association has made a rather shocking
proclamation that its
members will not attend to the Ebola scourge ravaging the country not until the 16,000 workers that were sacked nationwide are called back.

Vanguard reports that the medical practitioners have
vowed not to come back to work except their colleagues
who were sacked due to an order from the Federal Government
are reinstalled and given license to come back to work.

The doctors made it known
that the 16, 000 sacked
doctors are resident doctors
whose hands are needed in
subduing the scourge of the
deadly Ebola disease, saying
further that not calling them
back to work could further
escalate the Ebola scourge
as majority of those working
on the case management,
monitoring and surveillance
team were resident doctors.
