ear standing doesn't necessarily mean the ears will be up 24/7. Just as their tails, they use there ears to express emotions (friendliness or anger). I so wish OP can upload more pics (closer) of the male adult.

Hmmm, ears? Lyk seriously ears are the first thing u look at when determining a pure breed gsd? Wat apens to temperament? The build? The kind of muzle? Facial muzle? Structure? Hope u aware dt some gsds ears culd be damaged as a puppy nd as a result of that never stands up again? Hope u also aware that a taping method is used for gsds dt ve weak ears dat cnt stand up? Hope u knw dt sum of dem stil dnt errect even afta taping? Well despite the fact that Gsds re known for thier errect ears, dt u re partially correct, dt is nt a criteria to say dt a gsd wit one floppy ear nd d oda errect is a mix, because for one ear to be errect, it shuld be obvious that d oda shuld be errect too if nt for certain factors dt mite be responsible. @Kuzee...The stud you uploaded is a GSD no doubt, but every breed is measured by its purity. A GSD from the purest bloodlines could easily be identified by its poise and pose, build, bodice, temperament, carriage and the way the ears are positioned. You might have gotten a lot of criticism from breeders and pet owners that your stud isn't from a pure bloodline, that's one thing you cannever escape. That's the more reason you should strive to breed the best. My advice is this...Sell off all the pups you have now at the most reasonable price, although you might have commitments and responsibilities, try get a female GSD pup from a pure bloodline, that's enough investment. Soon enough you'll recoup your funds. And you will save yourself the trouble of being criticized each time you wanna sell your pups.

That's a misleading fact. Not all imported dogs are from a pure bloodline. And the fact that a dog is vet checked and registered does not necessarily mean they are from the purest bloodline. Of course there are a lot of purebred GSDs in Nigeria and a greater proportion of impure ones. All you need do is check out the dogs "pedigree", and some background checks to confirm your facts. The fact that people favour imported dogs over the ones bred locally is because majority of our breeders here ain't truthful with facts. All in the name of selling pups, they sell you all sorts of lies too. Although it's all over but that of Naija breeders is on the high.

you knw i kip laughin all the time..coz i neva thought my personal zino dog could be xo beautiful dis way..til growing..pix of my 4 month zino then..right nw i ave nt taken any photo shoot of her yet..6 months old by 12 of dis month nd mre beautiful dan she was b4..will snap her later..

to be frank i thought i wasnt going to get any buyers with all the criticism..and the most funny thing in less dan 3 weeks all the pups was sold..not from the advert here..olx i presumed..al was sold for 23k to 25k.the demand was high..thought of really going into this biz of breeding..

and lastly since 100% pure GSD are hard to come by..i waz contemplating on importing one..but painful i will going back to school early next year outside naija...i dnt really mind been criticized coz my pups will till be on high demand..
