Pimples is more pronounced in adolescent and adults, it is caused by the infection on the sebaceous gland leading to the production of pus from the pore subsequently causing inflammation and swelling. The smooth fresh skin gets deteriorated when impacted with pimples making it unpleasant to sight and mars the self-esteem of some people. There are several lotions used to cure this infection due to the several properties they possess. Interestingly, there are natural home remedies that could invoke the suppression and removal of pimples. The natural remedies and how they can be used are:

ICE

Wrap some ice in a piece of cloth and place it on the infected areas for some minutes.
Repeat this process intermittently during the day.
Ice facilitates blood circulation to the pimple, removal of oil and dirt, and reduction in the inflammation and swelling. The pimple gets obscure after this procedure.

LEMON

Swab cotton immersed in fresh lemon on the pimples before bedtime and wash with lukewarm water.
Alternatively, mix one tablespoon of lemon with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and the pasty mixture is put on the pimples before going to bed and wash with lukewarm water in the morning.
NOTE: Fresh lemon should be used and not bottled lemon and those who have sensitive skin should not use this.

TOOTHPASTE

Apply white toothpaste and not gel toothpaste to the affected areas before bedtime or apply for half an hour during the day. The pimples should be minute by morning.

HONEY

Dip a cotton swab into honey and rub it on the pimples, wash after half an hour with slightly warm water.
One could also mix honey with cinnamon powder to form a pasty mixture that is used on the pimples and washed with cold water in the morning.

STEAM

Expose your face to the steam oozing from hot water in a large container and cover your head with a towel. Place it for some minutes and remove.
Rinse your face with lukewarm water, dry and add oil.
Steam triggers the opening and aeration of the pore and removal of dirt and oil from the pore.

GARLIC

Slice a fresh garlic clove into two pieces
Rub the pieces on the pimples and leave for five minutes before washing with warm water.
Repeat this process several times in the day.

CUCUMBER

Cut one or two fresh cucumber into pieces and immerse in water for about an hour.
Decant and retrieve the water drink it or use the water to wash your face.
Alternatively, you can make a face mask by grinding one cucumber apply the mask on your face allow it to dry for 15 minutes. Wash your skin with warm water. This aids to clean the dirt and bacteria from the pore.

TOMATO

Slice a tomato bulb and rub it on the infected areas and leave for about an hour and wash. It is an effective way of treating pimples.

MUSTARD

Add about 1/8 of a teaspoon of mustard powder to 1 teaspoon unfiltered honey and mix well. Use it on the pimples and wash off after 15minutes.

EGG

Wipe the messy inner egg shell with your finger to pick some egg white ( after you have poured out the egg when cooking) and apply that on the affected areas. You can leave it for as long as you like.
You can bolster the treatment by applying lemon first, letting it dry before covering with the egg white.

NUTMEG AND MILK

Grind nutmeg and add little raw milk to it. Apply the mixture to the pimples and leave for about one or two hours then wash off.

BAKING SODA

Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with some water or lemon juice.
Wash your skin, leaving it slightly damp. Apply the mixture on affected areas allow to dry and leave for few minutes.
NOTE: Don’t leave baking soda on your skin for too long than few minutes cause it brings about dryness
Wash your face with warm water and apply a moisturizer.
Repeat this process twice daily for quick result.

PAPAYA

Crush raw papaya into pieces to extract its juice and apply on the pimples.

PEPPERMINT

Crush some peppermint leaves to extract its juice.
Apply the juice on the pimples and leave for 10 minutes
Wash with cold water when the estimated time lapses.
Alternatively, take one or two drops of peppermint oil on the pimples rub it,leave for some minutes and rinse with water.

TURMERIC

Crush neam leaves and turmeric and add water to the mixture. Apply the product to the pimples and leave for half an hour. It removes pimples and left over scars.
Turmeric could also be mixed with lemon juice or yogurt. Apply the mixture to the pimples and leave for 15minutes then wash with water.

Note: If after using one or all of these procedures and the pimples still persist you should go and see a medical doctor for further treatment.

Thanks. Peppermint is mostly found in europe . you could still get from some importers though. would advice to just use those you could get easily and work perfectly for u.
