Two people follow enter that hole abi? Lights plus camera. The camera man should be directing most Nollywood movies. And not some guys that will be making it look like a scene in a game. Esp when it includes a dragon. *sighs while shaking head*

I don't watch naija movies tho

His is lucky he didn't meet a poised cobra or black mamba down there. Python is harmless unless it gets its victim, usually petite animals in a bad position that can allow it to constrict.

Primitive, even a honey better would have done better in getting the snake out of the hole first before going for the kill.

I don't watch naija movies tho

I saw this series of pix eons ago in the nineties in a National Geographic Journal. I think it was a photography expedition with its theme centred upon Python Hunters.

I think there are still societies who still practise python hunting in Nigeria. I've heard of a tribe in Old Gongola state (present day Taraba & Adamawa states) who hunt pythons by sticking one of their legs into the python's nest and allowing it Swallow the leg before they drag their Leg out with the Snake holding on.
Well, since the snake's teeth are created pointing backwards, it can't let go of its prey and since its only one leg swallowed, the snake faces a very peculiar dilemma. grin!
Long story short, the hunter will then slip a knife into the snakes mouth and neatly dissect the snake from head to tail and keep is Hide for leather.

I heard this back when I was serving in Adamawa.
