Even the funniest people on earth make the TIME 100 every year and that is not an achievement to make noise about if you look at those on the list. Strange people.
But until an actress wins an Oscar, Golden Globe, Emmy, BAFTA and other highly coveted awards for acting in the world, the actress is still lagging behind. And it is not how long you have been acting that counts, but how well you have made the world class level.
Lupita Nyong'o of Kenya has won an Oscar and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is still day dreaming of it.
Until she wins an Oscar like Lupita of Kenya and Charlize Theron of South Africa, then she can be called a great actress.

Oscar don't 'actually' proves how good you are, it is just a title behind the name, it is just mere luck or no competition the year you won it, lupita won best actress with 12 years a slave, charlize won hers with monster, yeah I get it, they were good and lucky also, just check the list of movies that made it to oscar the year they won, even Johnny Depp, thandie newton has never won an oscar. Don't compare Omotola with lupita and charlize, those guys are now Hollywood actresses unlike Omotola who is core Nollywood, compare her with core Nollywood act or any african-wood that won all those awards you mentioned, none, Nollywood made Omotola, but either kenyan or south wood didn't make lupita and charlize. Your analysis is not right.

P.S - to me any awards both local and international is the same to me 'cause it proves to one that you performed well, Gavin hood of SA won an Oscar award with tsotsi, that doesn't mean he's better than hollywood trained directors, every entertainer deserves an Award to show that he/she knew what he/she were doing, but not all will win Oscar, golden globe, emmy etc to prove that they've arrived.

Good point. But winning a world class award makes all the difference.
But these Nollywood divas brag a lot when none of them has even walked on the red carpet at the Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Oscars.
Just one film and Rachel Mwanza from the Democratic Republic of Congo where there is no Congowood won the coveted Best Actress at the 2012 Berlin Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival and the Vancouver Film Critics Circle in 2012, as well as the award for Best Actress at the 1st Canadian Screen Awards for her role in Kim Nguyen's "Rebelle" (War Witch) and she was not even born when the Queen of Nollywood had her breakthrough in Andy Amenechi's "Mortal Inheritance" home video in 1996.

I now get your point, if she's such a braggart, she really need to step up more... Than hanging her cloths where hands no reach.

Nigerians and making mouth sef, a little publicity they'll brag like say they done reach already. No wonder VillageBoi keep saying that it's not that we are not better filmmakers is just that we're lazy, and that's true.

I am also one of her fans even though we have been on set together since she was 17, so no one is hating here, but challenging her and the others who are already retiring when bigger and greater opportunities are still there waiting for them and they should not think they have reached their peak until they are walking the red carpet with the other stars on the world stage. Look at Stephenie Okereke-Linus in ‘BoonVille Redemption’ in Hollywood.

Nigeria's Ene Oloja of the "Cockcrow at Dawn" fame played a unique role as Josai in Neil Jordan's "The Brave One", 2007, acting alongside the famous two times Academy Award winner for Best Actress Jodie Foster.
The American psychological thriller was number 1 at the U.S. box office in 2007.
