Davido Faces Stigma In Cameroon Over Ebola Fear by hefeholuwa: 10:13pm On Aug 24, 2014
Despite being Africa’s leading
artist, music star, Davido was
turned back last week from
Cameroun, for fear of Ebola,
which has killed and infected
several people in Nigeria.
According to report, the
chartered aircraft of the
‘Skelewu’ crooner was turned
back because flights originating
from Nigeria were not cleared to
land in that country.
A source told NET that, “his
people tried different means,
They even attempt to go in
through Ghana, but they met
brick walls’”
When asked to confirm the
report, Davido’s Manager, Kamal
Ajiboye failed to respond to
Qquestions.
Davido is not the first celebrity to
have experienced this kind of
stigmatization,
DailyPost recalls that movie
producer, Kunle Afolayan was
embarrassed by immigration
officers in Kenya weeks ago.[img]Despite being Africa’s leading
