OP talk true for your mind do you really believe this nonsense you posted? What is the mechanism for implementing the plan? All i read was that CBN was asked to set aside money (just like that) that will be used through some public private partnership jargon. The VP who is making the pledge and those listening all know say na rubbish him dey talk. Was this money included in the 2014 budget? In otherwords, does it really exist? Or is it more like President Jonathan sets aside #50 billion to be embezzled? Talk about institutionalized incompetence. And you are rushing to come and post it on NL 8 Likes |

President Goodluck Jonathan has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, to set aside a N50 billion mechanization intervention support fund. That is good. But when? All I see is Future tense (there are still many future tense items yet to be attended to). And hope the elites will not corner all the funds. Anyway nice gesture if not stolen. 2 Likes |

First it was money for victims of terrorism, followed by $1 billion for procurement of weaponry for military, then billions of naira was raised for ebola victim and finally farm mechanization fund after Sure-p had supported road construction with billions of naira . If this is money is not meant for his re-election campaign then the president needs to clarify all these extra-budgetary spending. |

Chai --------I thought that some companies in Nigeria manufacture agricultural equipments and machineries? Cant we get them at subsidizes rates? We are just reserving money with CBN for 2015 elections. This would not have happened under SLS. Jona ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh |

Let's all watch and see if the money will be used efficiently cos i don tired for Nigeria matter. Too many corrupt leaders, By the time the money would get to the agricultural sector, we might have only N5b left. But again, let's watch and see! |

Space booked! Now, we are going back to what we are known for "agriculture". I'm not shy to say that GEJ is full of idea but hampered by political crisis here and there. This should be implement soon and make accessible to everyone. 6 Likes |
