The dreaded ebola virus (EVD) spreading in
Western Africa has probably received more hype
and publicity than both the fight against Boko
haram and the #BringBackOurGirls campaign put
together and for some reason the United Nations
declared it an international emergency with the
Nigerian government allocating an amount little
shy of #2,000,000,000 (two billion naira) to fight
the scourge.
It is a popular knowledge that Nigeria has lost
some citizens including the brightest of brains, our
hearts go out to the bereaved while we pray for
quick recovery for infected persons.
However some questions come to mind like:
How did the virus get into Nigeria?…through a
certain Liberian-American named Patrick Sawyer.
The above question leads to other questions like:
Who really was Mr. P.S?
What was his mission in Nigeria?
How long was he going to stay?
A while after P.S’ death his wife came out to say:
“he flew to Nigeria because he thought he could
get better medical carethere”
Reports flew out however that the said believer in
Nigeria’s medical facilities was warned severally
not to leave Liberia as many countries did not have
the wherewithal to tame the virus yet.
Another provocative thought; he was said to be
part American right? A visit to the American
embassy in Liberia wouldn’t have been a bad idea
as American citizens (full or part) are usually urged
to report to the embassy in any unbearable,
unfavourable, funny or extreme condition. He came
to Nigeria instead thus ungracefully placing the
country on the ebola map.
Something tells me he was used to bring the virus
into Nigeria.
Wait a minute! We hear the virus is now in Senegal
and was brought in by a Guinean. A Malian took the
virus to Ghana, a Liberian brought it into Nigeria, a
Sierra Leonean took the virus to Liberia and a
Liberian took it to Sierra Leone.
Notice two things here:
The virus is brought into a country by a citizen of
another country IN THE SAME REGION.
ONLY major West African countries have the virus
so far (nothing in Togo and Benin Republic)
Take a diversion here. The virus is said to have
been in Africa (Congo) since the ‘70s and is highly
contagious. Has nobody travelled into or out of
Congo since then?.. Does Congo have so very good
medical facility and personnel that they have been
able to restrict the virus since then?…if the virus
was contained in Congo how then did it get out?
The virus is also said to originate from ebola river.
Did the river dry up and then resurface?…or did all
the bats get a special cleansing except one that
travelled and came back?…or is there a new specie
of bats that came into the world with the virus?…or
did Africans just start eating bats?.. So many
questions abound that are overlooked.
Let’s go back to where we were: The virus is NEVER
found in citizens of a country but is brought in by a
citizen of another country. What is the effect of
this?… Slow or reduced trade and economic activity
between countries, banning and rumours of
banning of flights, subliminal comments attacking
other countries, strained diplomatic relationships
among West African powers etc. All these will then
lead us to invite the all-knowing, “very caring” and
ever-present big brother (USA) to intervene and
then big brother gets what he wants (as with
Nigeria and Chibok abduction)- UNHINDERED
access into the region!
Now countries are appealing to the Confederation
of African Football (CAF) to reconsider venues of
some African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) qualifier
matches and affected countries are firing
back!..exactly what the “big brother” wants-
commotion. It is visible to the deaf and audible to
the blind that this is West Africa’s trouble. Notice
that every region in Africa has something to deal
with (crises in the North, hunger and HIV in the
East, hunger, HIV and violence in the South and
then ebola in the West). This is supposed to
complete the gradual destruction of every corner of
the African race and a way for the Western world to
access the minerals and goodies that abound in the
continent.
Notice again that as fast as EVD is spreading no
case has been reported in Togo and Benin republic..
the reason? …nothing to gain from these countries!
The media hype given to ebola by international
media and some comments they make (not
undermining its destructive prowess) is only to
cause panic among the people. After all, it’s Africa
and if the virus doesn’t kill people, panic will.
The ultimate aim here is simple…reduce the
population, cause panic, offer to help and then get
access to their resources…diamonds in Liberia and
Sierra Leone, Gold in Ghana, whatever we can get
from Senegal and crude oil in Nigeria.
USA was quick to withdraw her infected citizens
and treated them with an “experimental drug” and
blatantly refusing to release the drug to Nigeria
until much pressure was mounted on her.
An unwritten statement will read “get our citizens
out of there and leave their citizens to die”
For some reason I believe there is a very strong
interest in Nigeria by America especially with the
latter’s “prediction” that Nigeria will split in 2015. I
am even wont to believe that boko haram receives
a measure of support from Western governments.
In the heat of the ebola “outbreak” America’s
flagship media house CNN released a malicious
map of Africa highlighting countries with the virus
and placed Nigeria at the center where Congo is
supposed to be and highlighted it as having the
highest ebola rate…simply satanic!
Solutions brought forward by Nigerian scientists
were discarded and called pesticides in the media.
The reason?..only America should have the cure.
Currently an American firm produces the drug and
is the only outfit in the world licensed to do that…
interesting!
I put it to everyone that America and the West are
behind ebola virus because they want our mineral
resources (these Western powers are very poor,
Britain is a poor island, America feasts on other
countries and practically live on debts, Germany
has just over a little mineral resource and even lack
drinkable water, France only vine {in Borduex and
Burgundy}etc and these countries will do anything
to loot from countries.
I’m sure they are shocked by the way the Lagos
state government has handled the
“epidemic” (kudos to Gov. Fashola) and will be
secretly plotting some other things. Their business
though!
They tried with HIV but it failed to break us, now
it’s ebola and it’s failing already. The Nigerian state
is unbreakable!
Let us keep washing our hands every thirty
minutes, steer clear of bats (as if we have always
played with them), avoid unnecessary handshakes
and hugs, pray to God to heal those affected and
watch the West fail in their quest to scatter and
inherit West Africa and indeed the African
continent.
P.S: This article is just my opinion of Zion
