He should ask Ezeumuaga what happened, perhaps things will turn out better before the governor vacates the office and Ezeumuaga disappears.

Let the useless Enugu State government give him back his property or process him for a refund.Maybe I had that the deputy was impeached because of chicken and since he got the land through him, the man is not happy for that.

This governor who imprisoned his own wife should remember that one day, he MUST not be on that seat forever and those he stepped on their toes will also hunt him.

Emenike should go straight to the governor and if not resolved, he should petition the IG and the Presidency on this matter.
If na to steal state fund, they will be fast to so that.

Read well $180 000 approximately 30 000 000 Naira, about N 2.3 million per plot.

Sad shaaa undecided but seem this guy don enter 'one-chance' ....elections round the corner, people are looking for cash and this probably part of it. He should have paid a courtesy call on the governor to assuage his ego rather than through a Special Assistant. You use special assistants for what they are ...assisting you see the governor. The governor in turn would have 'Ordered' the Commission for Lands to do the needful.

Won't be surprised if the governor ends up building a Soccer Academy for the state on that same piece of land ....Emenike invariably sold him an idea to lift up his political relevance after his tenure elapses.

Anyway sha ....try call JJ Okocha ask how he went through with Societal Generale Bank when they took his 500 milla grin

Iboland has run out of land? How will they survive in a landlocked country? Well, in the north it is possible to still get some land sha, if Emenike comes to the West, we have lots of quality land but he has to keep away all his chest beating fraudsters of a people away! Only him can come.

Scyllapatron: landed property in Enugu state is a try-your-luck affair. you buy from government, community will sue you and claim it's community land. you buy from community, government will demolish and claim it's a reserved area for projects. if you buy land and do not start work immediately, chances are the same sellers will resell to a higher bidder and use part of the money for your court case.
At the end of the day the winner is the lawyers. he might never get that land back not his money. the more he pursue the case the more money to the lawyer's pocket.
from the onset, the sellers knew it was government's property, but they liaise with some corrupt state government officials and process fake documents. by next year the present state government will vacate office and the new one will start demolition of old sold properties, only to resell them.
nigeria is a real jungle.

Collynzo16: Reading the parts in bold, I just wonder whether South East leaders are averse to development.
It is very easy to castigate Igbos who invest away from home without hearing their own side of the story.
Everything should be done to encourage those who choose to invest in the South East rather than frustrating them.
Also on the bolded, some stats by I think NCC reveals that Imo state is one of the most difficult states to start a new business.
