By the way, impressed & blessed by the several respondents 2 d OP. Hymns are one of the bases of d Christian faith which d new generation churches seem to av undermined. For me, no worship service is complete without good hymn_singing. Christians who don't know or sing hymns miss a lot. Pls go get a hymnal if u av none & see the wonders in singing hymns.

This hymn is a deeply spiritual song and the composer whoever he is has added a beautiful the ng to the world.

Beretta92: I loved this hymn as a little boy in Deeper Life children choir. Always made me feel like crying. I am an atheist now but I still love nice hymns like this.

I love this hymn die! One of my favourite-favourite hymn. I especially love playing it on the keyboard. It gives a special feeling when you play it on string with all the accompaniments giving the feeling of your life.

The CHB has hymns that kills my soul. And with just the hearing of such hymns, there is nothing that would make me leave the Catholic Church. Nothing! The problem is, I don't get to listen much to these hymns since I am a chorister and even though as you sing, you listen and get to enjoy alongside the congregation. But, sometimes its better you listen while such hymns are being sung, and reflect deeply. Such moment gives you the opportunity to link up your soul to God while in deep reflection.
