i hope Keshi is not about to make himself a scapegoat.

The brouhaha over his contract has affected the team, and he will be blamed!

Maybe, professionally speaking, he should have resigned, compelling the NFA to hire him again, on his own terms, if they were interested.

Sometimes u just have to call the bluff! cool

Smh....a coach who invites players based on names & clubs and not of form is not worthy of my attention. If he had made the right changes before the 2nd half, game would have been killed. Choose τ̅o keep the likes of underperforming Mikel, Onazi, Musa, Oduamadi, Nwofor, Oboabona etc......smh. Anyway *pic*

Keshi, i dont agree with you that they "parked the bus", in contrast, the congolese came out to play us in our half for virtually the whole duration of the game. They showed us no respect, and it worked for them,

Pride no go allow Keshi get sense.
Football has gone beyond this rubbish we play in Naija. We are in a dispensation were a single set piece can settle a match or restore parity. We have no free kick taker,no corner kick taker taker and I don't even trust our penalty taker(I don't even know our number 1 in dis area).
Keshi shuld invite pple dat can play the ball not names. He shld also shun nepotism.Imagine dis...Gabriel Ruben that made d world cup squad was released on a free by Kilmarnock.A player not good enuff for a not too good team in a second rate league made naija's world cup team...smh
All the blame shuldnt go to Keshi tho.I blame the money factor too.Our players just want to get out of the country(anywhere better).Itz money b4 career. Many play in obscure leagues;Paskitan,Cyprus,Thailand etc.
We shld forget past glory, fashion out developmental programmes and also separate football from politics. This is d only way our football would move from the haitus it has found itself.

Great comments from everybody concerning Keshi.

All I have to say is just look at our performance against France at wc. Despite the team's flaws, they should have beaten les bleus, but didn't play with any fight after conceding the first goal and ultimately imploded.

Keshi won the Anc, kudos, but his management of players i.e. Togo and now Nigeria is very suspect and divisive and he talks too much without the swag or cv to back it up.

Coaching is about learning and making adjustments, keshi needs to learn and adapt his tactics; go and coach a league were day in day out u live and breath football, he has not done that.

He needs to attend coaching seminars in Europe to learn more and grow as a coach. Right now he is stuck in "big boss" over sabi mode and he ain't on that level.

SE has always had slow starts ...Most recently in the 2014 WC, the 2013 AFCON ... and all under the Keshi era. He has made the necessary adjustments and the team played better in their subsequent games. I believe they will do the same again ... let's see what happens against SA this wednesday
