Self acclaimed President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Chris Giwa was banned from meeting the players before their game against Congo at the UJ Esuene Stadium Calabar.

The Chairman and financer of Giwa Football club of Jos,who was ordered by the Federation of International football Association, FIFA to vacate his post as the nation’s football federation boss was usered away by security operatives before the start of the game.

Self acclaimed Nigeria Football Federation President, Chris Giwa was banned from shaking the players before their game against Congo in Calabar. completesports can report.

Giwa’s election was cancelled by the House committee on sport following public hearing that involved all stakeholders on Thursday.

Nigeria was defeated 3-2 by the Devils of Congo on Saturday in the opeining game of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Morocco.

The three time African Champions will take on Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Moses Mabida Stadium in Cape Town on wednesday for the second match of the group.

Nigeria are third in group A alongside South Africa, Congo and Sudan, with two teams qualifying for Africa’s most prestigious competition.
