Dear Nairalanders, I'm desperately in need of help, i can't install apps on my new mercury M831G tablet, i have 5g space and 2g memory card but still, i continue receiving insufficient space on this device anytime i try downloading an apps. I also try rooting it via usb cable and its say usb device not recognized.... someone should pls come to my aid. Thanx all! |

The 5GB space you have is phone memory and apps are downloaded to the internal memory with some apps allowing SD card intallations as well. Guess your internal memory is less than 1GB thus giving you the insufficient memory issue...You may google to see if this can be expanded or attempt to root the damn thing |
