We must insist to God 'bashers' and atheists, quietly but firmly, by our consistent Christ-like life, that knowing Jesus transcends mere religion. That our tempered shouts are not sporadic madness of a brainwashed soul. That knowing Jesus isn't knowing spiritual realm as an alternative universe which is only in our heads. That just because some prefer rationality and scientific facts to Jesus isn't a proof that He who leads you through fire, excites and empowers your inner man for effective living, spoke to you this morning... are only manifestations of self-delusion. That just because a pastor is misbehaving somewhere isn't enough yardstick to invalidate our convictions. After all, those who sit under him are as questionable as the principles he espouses. We attract who we are and what we want (2Tim 4:3).

We want Jesus. And who says He doesn't want you to think?

We must insist therefore, joyfully and sincerely, by the daily, exciting fellowship we have with the Holy Spirit, that being a righteous man goes beyond the external emphasis of legalistic righteousness. That some person got tired of looking 'too serious' and went wild isn't a testament to the fact that true spirituality is a repression of human emotions. That just because some religious folks are hard to get along with does not mean Christ-life is only a measure of spiritual emptiness or hypocrisy. That just because some religious Pharisees have substituted diligence for the misplaced rhetorics of God's mercy and favour doesn't mean such concepts are not divine lights of love, humility, faith, hope... that have shone into our own hearts. For we know that...the godly man's life is exciting (Prov 14:14, TLB). Ours is never a life of fear.

No dulling this week and ever. No depression. No suicide contemplation. No giving up or giving in. No compromise. This is life eternal. Our lives are exciting....
