The world is moving at a fast pace. Things become 'old school' within a space of just 5-10 years unlike in the past when something can be in vogue for like 30-50 years.

Just checkout the evolution of mobile phone technology. Barely 15 years ago, cell phones were not so popular ( especially in Nigeria) but fast-forward to 2014 and we have moved from Nokia 3310 through Nokia torch, Symbian, Windows phone, blackberry and now Android. All in the space of less than fifteen years!

Also look the pace at which the internet is taking over our day to day activities.
Fashion trends are not left out.

There is an explosion of information. It will take you years to read the amount of information that is being generated on daily basis.

Work is fast paced and people are under more stress due to pressure from their job.
Everything is just fast paced.

While it is intriguing to watch things unfold at such a pace, one cannot help but wonder whether a crash is not imminent in the future. Can the world really hold out at this pace? A very fast moving car is bound to suffer a crash if care is not taken.

What do you think about this? Are we headed for a crash?

I think we got enough crashes as is, just look all around; why be waiting for one, they already came.

And luckily we ain't the dinosaurs, as a species we bounced back.
