Goodday auto people, so I need some advice, I want to get a new car as the old one is nothing to write home about, but I need to choose between the lexus rx300 or toyota corolla 2005, please can seasoned car peeps offer me advice and can I get a price range for both, I hear a good belgium for both is around the 1.5m range or less? A good toks lexus Rx300 starts at 1.7-2.1m which is same price for a toks highlander.

First you should check your budget,also check your major routes i.e good or bad roads, do u care about fuel consumption? Etc

You can get an RX300 2000 model for 1.6m and 2005 corolla for 1.5 or a bit less.

I'll never own a sedan in Nigeria. It's an automotive crime what you guys put them through as they weren't designed for the extreme conditions they are used in.

Would suggest you go for the Toyota Corolla, 2005 your budget is very okay, Corolla is very cool in terms of availability of parts here in Nigeria and low cost of maintenance in terms of fuel economy superb. But if you are considering our bad roads you can go for the Lexus the price is 1.6 million but with 1.2 -1.5 you can get the Corolla it all depends on your negotiations with the seller.
