Deco believes Big Phil Scolari will have failed if Chelsea don’t win the Premier League or Cham- pions League this season.

The Portuguese playmaker reckons new boss Scolari must steer the Blues to at least one of the top two titles after they finished runners-up in both last term. He said: “It will be hard to consider a season successful without at least one of these two titles.”


Chelsea lost for the first time under Scolari on Sunday against leaders Liverpool in a game that also ended their 86-match unbeaten run at home.


But Deco insists Scolari is the man to bring the silverware back to Stamford Bridge that became the norm under Jose Mourinho. Chelsea is expected to lay claim to one of the two titles, or Scolari fired!
