A friend once asked me if I'm pressed and I have the bible and my last 1000naira note, which will I use to wipe my anus after using the toilet? I told him I'll use the Bible without thinking twice and he was like "The Word of God? Don't you know that's an abormination in the sight of God?". I said I only used a paper but the word of God still exists and remains the same. Afterall, it's not the last copy I used!!! I gave him an instance where I have a bible app in my phone and will it be a sin against God if I flush my phone with the word of God as an installed app into the toilet? Even though my friend kept insisting it's wrong, I still believe it isn't. Nairalanders what do you think? Is the Bible the booklet or the word? Cos I think the booklet is just the "word holder" just like our electronic devices holds the installed app. So tearing the booklet is like destroying or smashing my phone or laptop on a hard surface.
