Think Twice Before U Travel With An Echolacc In The North: My Experience! by nas4q(m): 7:32pm On Sep 15, 2014
I went 2 kafanchan area of jemaa local govt from Zaria, kaduna state to check on a friend on Friday last week. The distance was a long one and so I decided 2 go with some of my personal belonging in an echolacc bag.

Having spent a day with the said friend. I bid my friend goodbye and asked for directions to their nearest viewing centre. I was pulling along with my box. The first person I asked showed me the wrong description. I went to a mechanic and asked him; he described the place for me but wanted 2 know if I wasn't carrying a bomb in my echolacc. I assured him I wasn't and then headed towards the viewing centre. I discovered some suspicious eyes looking at me but I was confidently heading towards my destination cuz I was eager to watch my teams performance against arsenal.

I got to the viewing centre with my box. I could see a terrifying look on the face of the attendant as he was telling me 2 stop there. I told him I came 2 watch match; to prove I wasn't trying 2 bomb the place, I opened my box and showed him the content. He then asked me to enter but I insist I wanted 2 keep the box outside 2 avoid some fans from abandoning the viewing centre cuz of a potential bomb explosion. That was how I kept my box outside and went in 2 watch.

On returning 2 Zaria from kaduna; the taxi driver was so suspicious. He said my hausa doesn't sound like their own. Prior 2 tht I had chyked one lady sitting beside me. We exchanged numbers. When I reached home, I whatsapped with the girl and she was telling me the driver called me a boko haram member. She defended me that I was a corper but he would have none of that.

I am just wondering if anyone has had such an experience before either as a prospective corps member heading 2 camp, student or even visiting family friends in the north. Share your experiences too
