Job responsibilities
•Carry out feasibility studies for new technical innovations on Power.
•Draw up plans using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
•Estimate material, construction, and labour costs, and project schedules with consideration to labour market survey.
•Coordinate technicians and craftspeople on site to achieve the project goal
•Test installations and systems, analyze data monitor the calibration of instruments as related to power.
•Determine requirements and design standards.
•Writing of technical reports and technical specifications.
•Produce outline functional system diagrams.
•Prepare design calculations to demonstrate designs meet performance requirements.
• Ensure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations.
• Oversee inspection and maintenance programme
• Attend meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and clients.

Skill Requirements
• B. Eng in Electrical Engineering
• 3 – 5 experience in Power Sector in a reputable Power Company in Nigeria
• Clear track record for promoting team motivation, mentoring and management together with strong interpersonal and client facing skills.
• High and proven technical capability in the designing of industrial bias electrical building services and power distribution systems.
• Excellent Mathematics, Science, Technology and IT skills
• The ability to analyze complex problems and assess possible solutions
• The ability to explain design ideas clearly
• Strong decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to prioritize and plan effectively
• Good budgetary skills
• Excellent team-working and people skills
