Both my parents are lecturers so i know what im saying...let me give u instances. My aunt has an msc on zoology and phd in ba. She teaches in uniports executive business school. She is presently doin a pgd in education bkus she and her husband wants to open an educational consulting firm. My mums friend that has an msc in biochemistry she is presently doin a pgd for the same reason. If all tins are equal all lecturers ought to have basic knowledge of educational techniques. That is the reason y most lecturers dont know how to impact knowledge.
I am not tryin to instigate an argument but i dnt like the way u dissed the faculty.
Both of your parent are lecturers does not mean they did education and they don't need pgde to lecture.
Baby, they are doing pgde not because they need it to lecture, they need it to start an educational consulting firm. Lecturers that does not impart knowledge are I'll prepared. You don't have to study education to know how to impart. Those who study education what do they do mostly, just note giving. because the faculty gets the least intelligent candidates. Out of over 10 dept, just 3 having above 50. Don't let me go on and. on and on.
Am talking from experience sis. Thank God for change of course that makes the faculty have some average students.
The truth is bitter.
Why didn't your aunt study education in school.

And later we will say all depts are the same...no need for discrimination...dont have all day to start this one with u sha...as for the least intelligent students it is bkus of naija and dis our mentality of teachers. As for the question i will definitely ask her when next i meet her.

My sister don't run. Nobody is saying all dept are the same. I have never heard it before in my life.
Put sentiment aside and hit the nail on the head. This is why people pick faculty of education.
1. Its not competitive
2. I cannot cope with tough courses
Did u choose courses in faculty of education, if yes its because of the above and if no, then just accept, its a second tier faculty even guys in school will say let's go and toast girls in education, they go sharperly gree for me. They say so because its an inferior faculty.

Now you have life outside nairaland. A nice way to throw in the towel. Don't forget, you quote me first. Now that you are out of point, you remember you have life outside nairaland.

For Education aspirant and potential aspirant, am sorry am not telling u guys what u wanna hear, but you can take solace from the fact that am just being uneconomically objective as suppose being sentimental like some people
