People find it very
difficult to take screen
snaps/ screen shots on
their laptops and
desktops, this is
because of lack of
knowledge. When you
lack knowledge, you
seem to be doomed in
terms of technology.
Many also believe that
you can’t snap any
screen image or text
without a software,
this is a big lie because
this tutorial will show
you how to take a
screen shot in your
laptop, and edit it to
your choice
Screen shot is the
ability to snap the
images/texts that
appear in your
computer screen at
any point/time
In this post i will be
showing you two ways
to take a screen shot
in your computer and
they are:
* without any
software
* with softwares
HOW DO I TAKE A
SCREENSHOT ON MY
COMPUTER WITHOUT
ANY SOFTWARE?
Follow the below steps
and you will accomplish
your aim:
Step1
when you want to
take a screen shot in
any computer, just hold
the FUNCTION KEY (Fn)
and press INSERT (prt
sc) button from your
keyboard. This will take
the screen shot of you
computer although you
will not notice any
change that will show
it has captured, just go
straight to step 2 to
see how to display
what you captured.
Step2
CLICK the start button
=> SELECT ACCESSORIES
=> SELECT PAINT.
When the paint
environment/window
opens, press CTRL + V
(paste) from the
keyboard and you will
see exactly the image
you have captured. you
can now edit the image
to your taste.
Step 3
To crop the image/
remove unwanted part
of the picture, place
your cursor on the
image, right click and
select crop, then select
the area you want to
save then right click on
the area you have
selected and click on
crop again and you are
done save your image
by selecting file=>
SAVE.
HOW DO I TAKE A
SNAP SHOT WITH A
COMPUTER SOFTWARE?
We will be using a
software called
SNIPPING TOOL, this
software comes with
WINDOWS 7 OS
therefore if you are
using windows 7
operating system, you
will have it in your
computer by default.
Step 1
CLICK on start button
=> SELECT ALL
PROGRAMS =>
ACCESSORIES =>
SNIPPING TOOL =>
CROP out the part of
the screen you wish to
snap and SAVE.
