I would like to ask th following : what is your course of study ? is it electrical eng ?
did you tell any lie on your CV and have you been offshore?
there is always a product line you will assigned to and thats where u will be interviewed.if you an electrical or physics graduate I guess thats why you are put up with wireline.

You need to brush yourself up on wireline activities (cased/open hole logging, production logging and perforating), info on baker hughes, why you want to join, why you like wireline engineering, etc. I thought that position is for experience.

1) studied electrical engineering.
2) dint lie on my cv and iv nt been offshore before ... I just applied.I have an insider tho' whom I submitted my cv to coupled with my online application. I guess that answers your question.

To the best of my knowledge, only solutionguy v given reasonable help 2 dis guy, othrs (david, majekdum et al) keep asking hm question nt to help but 2 satisfy dia curiosity and bolt away thr after. Na wa 4 una o, @op try google and read the job description of previous posting of d same position frm diff coys, @least 2 get a background and peripheral knowledge #success

OK, your course fits more into that postion.just do some research on well intervention.... these are activities done on a well other than drilling operations they are used to get information on how to successfully drill and evaluate a reservoir also. I think you should be good to go.

I asked because I kno how some of these companies work, that position was for experienced but considerations are given to intelligent electrical engineers. I have povided some info he would need.
