In our daily morning rush, we often make the error of skipping breakfast – pushing our bodies to run on low fuel. Contrary to the general opinion, if you wish to lose weight, skipping breakfast is not advisable. Breakfast helps to cut-down on Overfeeding, have better concentration at work and reduce your chances of Type II diabetes, Hypertension and Heart disease.

A good breakfast should also be of a sizeable quantity – about 30% of your recommended daily intake – eaten within 2hours of waking up. It should consist of Complex carbohydrates, Proteins, Unsaturated Fats, Fibre, Fruits and Vegetables, with LOADS of Water.
Healthy choices include Wholegrain cereal, Whole wheat bread (or toast), Eggs, Cheese, Non-fat or Low-fat yoghurt or Skimmed milk, Lean protein, Fresh fruits and Vegetables
