Reports have it that The authorities of Babcock University has decided to fine the graduating students 25,000 naira for leaving their convocation ground while Finance minister Ngozi Okonjo Iweala was addressing them.

Students insisted that Okonjo Iweala instead of encouraging them during her speech decided to campaign about Pres Goodluck Jonathan and his bid for re-election in a never ending lecture. It was at that point they started dispersing in groups to express their anger.

However, investigations have revealed that some of the students have started paying this unnecessary fine, while some have expressed their grievance and have taken to social media to vent.

The Babcock Graduation ceremony has come under attack in recent times when it was revealed that popular act Davido graduated without attending classes or writing and examination
