Pre-nursery Or Nursery 1 Class by filcast(m): 2:26am On Sep 28, 2014 |
Hello Nlanders, I have diifficulty in determining the appropriate class for my 2 and a half year old. Got contradicting suggestions from the different schools we have tried to register him. Some suggests Pre-nursery since he hasn't been to school while others think he can cope in a nursery 1 class. Please advise. 1 Like |

The right class is pre-nursery considering his age. Since this is his first time in school. In pre-nursery, he will be taught aw to hold the pencil, write, count numbers and read alphabelt and all that. Its the foundation of a child that matters. If u push him to nur 1, for the first term he won't b able to cope because by den the pupils in nursery one would b writing 1-100 and your child is still learning aw to hold d pencil. Its not how far but aw well. 4 Likes |

His appropriate class is Kindergaten one, where he will start with singing rhymes, identifying shape and colours, learning the alphabets etc, do not deny your child this foundation. 1 Like 1 Share |
