Embattled Chris Giwa vowed to resume work after the independence day break tomorrow. Speaking to reporters, the Giwa FC owner said he sees no reason why he shouldn’t return to work considering he is still number one as far as Nigeria’s football is concerned. Giwa will be coming back despite a court order which had directed that the process leading to yesterday’s elections in Warri be suspended. “We shall resume on Thursday. I issued a statement to that effect. We have been working so we would be going back to office on Thursday,” Giwa said.
