Jesus Christ is the Gospel! The Gospel is the Good News. The Good News is Jesus Christ. God is no longer at war with man because of Jesus Christ. Jesus accomplished this great feat about two thousand years ago. He is the Gospel we have been commissioned to carry round the globe while He is away. He mandated us to testify of Him, witness for Him and in fact witness Him. Jesus closed a gap which no being could. Praise God!

Our Lord Jesus gave up so much to save humanity. He literally gave up everything for the sake of the world. He forfeited His glory, left His throne, humbled Himself and gave up the ultimate price for our debt, His life. He left the mandate to proclaim what His death, burial and resurrection achieved for mankind in the hands of His Church.

Some years after Jesus' ascension, His disciples, the apostles continued to journey and spread this mind-boggling truth that God had paid the ultimate price for man's redemption, that man could now approach His Creator if He would only believe in the Messiah and His substitution. Other men like Phillip, the evangelist were raised. The apostle, Paul also arose in that time and was greatly effective in God's hands for extending Christ's salvation to the Gentiles for until then only Peter the Apostle had received that revelation. Their labor of love, their sufferings and persecutions have paid off and we can see the fruit today.

The big question is 'How can the Church today carry the Gospel round this rapidly globalizing world? In the days of the early Church, the population of the world was not even close to the population of Today's Europe. There has been and there still will be a drastic increase and explosion in the world's population. The population of human beings on planet earth will soon climax ten billion people. What is the body of Christ doing to meet up with astounding growth?

The amazing thing is that as the world's population increases, so does the chaos and confusion and our Master is counting on us to carry out this task. It is now more obvious than it was some centuries ago that we are in the last days. We must complete this mission because time is running out.
