Please I would need you honest and kind opinions about this cover letter, if you think there should be adjustments, kindly and politely state where necessary. Thanks. APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITION IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my interest in the Assistant Manager position in your esteemed establishment. I feel that my managerial skills coupled with my marketing experience would make me the perfect candidate for your esteemed establishment. I have experience in marketing and have come up with unique marketing ideas from former clients relationship experience. Marketing forecasts as well as business analysis are my strong points and I work very hard to stay on top of trends in the markets and to know what is viable at any time. The organizational skills I have would be perfect for the fast paced company that needs an assistant manager with the ability to multitask and take on multiple clients at one time. It is my opinion that teamwork is the only way that a marketing strategy can come together. For this reason, I know that my skills would be an asset to your organization. If you would like to speak further about my career history or track record, please contact me at Bleep@gmail.com and 081******* to schedule a time that best suits your schedule. Thanks so much for reviewing my cover letter and resume. Sincerely, Nairalander. |

Nice cover letter, though it isn't perfect. ..my opinion. The second to the last paragraph of 'if you would like to speak about my career history et al' is not necessary. In fact, I believe all those contact details would be in your CV which should be attached as a file to your cover letter. Also, the last paragraph of 'Thanks so much for reviewing my cover letter and resume' sounds a bit desperate, like you're begging for mercy instead of proving your merit. It could be simply written as 'Thank you. Please, find the attached (CV)'. 2 Likes 1 Share |
