Romans 8:29-30 says,
"For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified."

Ephesians 1:5 & 11 says,
"He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will"In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will."
Predestination is a situation whereby it has been destined before hand that a particular thing MUST happen. Infact, the more a person is trying to run away from what has been predestined, the closer the person gets to fulfilling it."

My Questions are,

1. Is Predestination biblical? Does God actually predestines for stuff to happen to people?

2. Saw this question somewhere: "What is the point of living if a person like me is predestined to go to hell?"...how does one answer that?

3. Do we truly have free will to choose/ freedom to make our choices and our path in life or in reality we are all just walking on paths that has been predestined?

Really looking forward to reading your thoughts. Thanks

Am not a Christian, which mean you should not expect me to give you any Biblical answer to this in fact am not replying to give answer am replying to take you further in the line of your thought only if you have the courage to follow and wouldn't label me a devil.

The fact that the idea of predestination doesn't sit well with you shows that you are not closed minded completely because a lot of Christians are reading those same verses and didn't see anything wrong with them.

But you are still doing it the wrong way by trying to find answer in the Bible to justify those verses. It will be difficult to know any truth that way because you already have a preconceived idea that it is a holy book of God with no mistake which means you can never be able to read it with an open mind that is unbiased.

I will rather advice you to ask yourself that can predestination be reconciled with justice?

The idea of predestination has a presupposition that we're not responsible for our actions whether good or bad and this negates the need for justice thereby eliminating entirely the need for heaven and hell.

The idea also views man has an automated machine with no free will of his own, so to judge man is doing injustice to man.

If you follow this line of thought, we will see how erroneous the doctrine of predestination is, and wonder how it can even be found in the Bible which ought to be the infallible word of God. You will be forced to question the genuineness of the Bible. You having the courage to do this is up to you.

If an entity embodies the beginning and the end (e.g God the beginning and the end) by implication our destiny as mortals can't be changed

consider having many destinies but you can only choose one at any point in time.
