An NYPD cop has been arrested on a sex assault rap in Atlantic City, authorities said Wednesday. Police Officer Andrei Torres, 32, a seven-year member of the department, is currently facing aggravated sexual assault and sex assault by force for the April 24 incident inside the Trump Taj Mahal, according to officials. Torres, who patrols Richmond Hill, Queens, surrendered to NYPD Internal Affairs detectives on Tuesday and was taken to the seaside New Jersey gambling mecca to be charged, officials said. New York State Trooper Devon Thomas, 35, also surrendered in connection with the attack on the 34-year-old woman. Details of the attack were not immediately released.
