- Java in 24 hours(good strtg book) - Java the complete reference(8/9ed) (good reference. Concurrency chapters well done) - thinking in java ( wen ur teeth are strong, bite this. not been updated for later releases. But it's very good) - java how to program. (good srtg book. quite verbose and wordy. The chapters on threads and concurrency were poorly done. So were d chapters on data structures. Beginning and foundation chapters are very good) - Core java vol1 & 2. (not for noobs. Intermediates+) - Learning java. (very good. Lots of code samples) avoid: java for dummies - those books ar just waste of paper. 1 Like |

Java how to program 7th, 8th, or 9th edition. Its comes will good practice question at the end of each chapter to help solidify your understanding. Also it example are available in video. The book can be gotten here in Nigeria. |
