WHY NIGERIA CAN'T PROCURE WEAPONS FROM USA
U.S. Ambassador Explains "Sealed" Embargo on Nigeria
Nigerians Now Know Reasons For Drama In South Africa

Nigerians Who Love Nigeria More Than They Enjoy APC vs. PDP Petty Politics Were Happy To Hear the U.S. Ambassador Personally Explain Why Nigeria Cannot Procure Arms From USA Leading To That Ugly Drama In South Africa.
.
NOW, the U.S. Government has explained why the Nigerian Government can no longer procure arms from USA to face Boko Haram. Without the ability to get arms from USA, Nigerian Government tried to purchase arms from South Africa as an alternative measure, when the aircraft carrying $9.3 Million to South Africa was seized by the South African government at the request of the United States

Since the seizure many Nigerians, especially Nigerian-Americans have loudly and consistently attacked the U.S. Government position and repeatedly accused the Obama Administration of weakening Nigeria's war against terrorism.

Mr. James Entwistle, the American ambassador to Nigeria said that complaints about human rights violation by Nigerian troops in the Nigerian North-east was the reason United States blocked Nigeria's ability to purchase any weapons for the Nigerian Military or to even consider the Nigerian military’s request for arms.

The U.S. Ambassador explained this during his working visit to the American University of Nigeria, AUN at Yola. He promised the United States will review the sealed arms embargo noting, "I had the honor of sitting down and talking to him (President Jonathan). And the first thing I said to him is ‘Mr. President, I want to be very clear, the U.S. stands with Nigeria on the war on terror'."

FELLOW NIGERIANS: Now you heard it directly from the U.S. Ambassador

Carefully navigating Official Secrets Act I wrote weeks ago to inform Nigerians who care about the truth that U.S. Government's State Department IMPOSED SEALED ARMS EMBARGO ON NIGERIA as well as issued Suspicious Activity Advance Request which is a heavy-handed threat to punish not just nations that would sell arms to Nigeria but also nations or entities if they fail to intercept or inform USA of Nigeria's effort to buy arms. That is how embargoes operate.

NATIONAL INTEREST of Nigeria is far greater than APC vs. PDP petty politics. Thus we refused to write any articles condemning patriots who tried to help our nation in South Africa. Nigerian-Americans will intensify all effort to get the U.S. State Dept to lift the "sealed" embargo so that Nigeria can freely purchase arms to defeat Boko Haram. For now, Nigerian-Americans are pressing U.S. Govt to first lift threat of sanctions against nations (e.g. South Africa) to enable them sell arms to Nigeria. Predictably, nothing will ever satisfy those Nigerians who would see conspiracy and politics in everything. But that is their problem. Truth is sacred.

Nigerians know the truth now!!!!.
