It is no longer news that ever since MoneyGram and Western Union Money Transfer Services came into the country about 15 years ago, Nigerians have only been allowed to receive money through their services from abroad, but are not allowed to send out. Last month, Western Union launched an outbound services that saw them partnered with First Bank of Nigerian Plc for that, while this time around, just yesterday, MoneyGram announced that they have partnered with Access Bank Nigeria PLC to start offering outbound money transfer services.
