Good morning my people,as it is said by our ancestors that proverbs are palm oil with which an Igbo man uses to eat his yam: Meaning that no true Igbo man wether from the indomie or palm kernel age, will not use proverbs when talking..

So this morning,I bring to you'all some of those indigenous Igbo proverbs smiley

* Úkú n'aga wara wara, anya n'ahu wara wara n'ahu ya = The wandering leg is seen by a wandering eyes.

* Onye si nwata jide nkapi nwuru anwu, nyekwa nwa'hu mmiri og'eji we kwor aka = He who sends a child to touch a dead rabbit should also provide water with which the child would wash his/her hands.

* Onye loro aki beke nwere okwukwe na ike ya = He who swallows a whole coconut has faith in his buttocks.
