I am glad to know that Jesus is my Lord. He is
always there for me. The psalmist said that the
Lord is my shepherd. This is real. Faith says Yes.
Faith is not deception, neither does it fail. When I
know that the Lord is my shepherd, faith will be
born in me. I will not be in lack of whatsoever I
need, for The Lord is my shepherd.
Some says that we are giving people false hope
as we preach about prosperity. The , prosperity is
our calling. I know the grace that is in Christ
Jesus (2Cor. 8:9).
Don't misunderstand this, Rev. T. L. Osborn said,
"Its a sin to be poor," Before you start shouting,
listen carefully: poverty is not the lack of basic
necessity: poverty is the confession of inability.
I have come to believe that the poor man cannot
do much for the Gospel. He is almost useless on
earth but is useful for God in heaven.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory and not be
obsessed with riches. Godliness with contentment
is great gain. Never be rich for the world, rather,
be rich for and towards God.
Having money is not evil, rather, the word of God
says that the love of money is the root of all evil.
I posit, the lack of money can be the tree of many
evil.
All the men who had a rich walk with the Lord in
the Bible were not poor except Lazarus. In the
mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word
be established. Since, Its only Lazarus, poverty
can't be established.
We have to be rich for God, to establish His
righteousness on earth. Through prosperity shall
God's city be spread abroad. Little wonder the
Bible says that God delights in the prosperity of
His servants.
Lastly, never take your eyes off Jesus, for your
revenue in eternity will be worth what you were
able to do with Jesus on earth.
