The search for a qualified foreign coach to take charge of Nigerian football seem to have been narrowed down to Dutch legend, Ruud Gullit. There are also strong speculations that former Germany captain, Lothar Matthaus, is being considered.

Although no Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) official statement has been issued on the matter, a top football source at the Glass House in Abuja at the weekend gave a hint that Gullit may be the preferred candidate.
