South African Paralympian Oscar pistorius has been sentenced to 5 years in jail for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva steenkamp. Reeva steenkamp was murdered on the 13th of February 2013 in Oscar pistorius south African home. The whole court proceedings has left Oscar pistorius bankrupt as was declared by his lawyer a couple of days back. While some South Africans are disappointed that the judge was lenient because Oscar is a celebrity, a lot of people are against the sentence saying the trauma Oscar passed through is enough punishment for him. Oscar pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide.
