The world of Nollywood actresses is associated with fashion, glamour and style. They turn heads at events, and are cynosure of attraction at every function. In fact, some of them live as comfortably as they appear on screen and rightly so, they have sacrificed so much to live like queens. We list the prosperous lifestyles of some Nigerian actresses.


Uche Jombo

Though she came into Nollywood as an actor in 1999 in the movie, Visa to Hell but currently, Uche Jombo Rodriguez is an accomplished screenwriter and producer.
Born in Abiriba in Abia State, Jombo, a graduate of Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Calabar and Computer Programming from the Federal University of Technology, Minna has featured in over 70 movies.
With her multi-million naira movie. production outfit, the former Glo Ambassador has a beautiful mansion in her hometown, in Abia State, and she’s almost completing another magnificent edifice in Lekki area of Lagos.


Kate Henshaw

Not much is known about Kate Henshaw’s investment outside Nollywood. But she is a force to reckon with in the industry as she is still the choice of most producers.
Having sojourned in the industry for over two decades, the dark-skinned actress who majored in Medical Microbiology at the School of Medical Lab Science, LUTH has starred in over 40 movies.

In 2008, she won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress as well as a mouth-watering contract with Samsung. The Cross River born thespian is the current Face of Onga, and one of the judges on Nigeria’s Got Talent. She cruises in expensive automobiles and spends fortunes on her dresses.


Funke Akindele

Funke Akindele unarguably could be described as the most successful Yoruba actress of her time. Popularly known as Jenifa, Akindele studied Law at the University of Lagos.
In 2009, she was adjudged the Best actress in Africa, by organisers of the prestigious African Movie Academy Award, AMAA.
Jenifa has been raking in millions of naira as regards her roles in movie aside her contract.
