OP Let your body language and facial expression do the work for you. Zone out a little when the talk is getting too much; make them know in subtle ways that you are not listening anymore and they will get the message. For the touching part, just distance yourself a little or use style to clean whatever part they touch ;P and they will reduce it. I also don't like people touching me anyhow or talking too much cos it gets tiring. |

I don't like it either except I'm familiar with the person. When strangers touch me or put their arms around me especially where I work, I feel very uncomfortable. |

Luckygurl: Many times I don't...depends on my mood. Sometimes I say, "I don't like to be touched!" in a very funny and nerdy way. They laugh and get the message. |

Touchy Feely people. Don't like it at all unless from people I'm very familiar with...and even then it's restricted. I have some colleagues whose days aren't complete until they've touched me. Most times I let my facial expression and body language communicate my discomfort, but the the individual is too slow to read that, I tell them straight up. My own problem is that,people with soft,fresh and sweet smelly palms don't always do all these touch and talk o  it's always people with palms as hoarse as sandpaper or ironsponge that specialise in such thing.  |

There is this friend of mine that can't pass his message with touching you. After telling him off in both jokingly and simple English, he failed to stop. I finally resorted to hitting him back whenever he does the touching and so far, it is working perfectly cos the touching has stopped or greatly minimized. |
